Michal Hanych

Michal writes, teaches, and speaks about what happens when family wealth changes hands: the legal mechanics, the family dynamics, and the years between when a founder dies and the next generation knows what to do with what is left.

He spent over a decade advising some of the wealthiest families in the Czech Republic, both at established practices and through the advisory firm he founded. His book From Father to Nothing, drawn from the years following his own father's unexpected death, was published in Czech as Nepřipravené předání podnikání mezi generacemi in 2025. The English edition follows in November 2026.
